What inspired the idea of the Kingdom? It wasn't created by people. The Lord God, our Creator, first instituted it as a type of administration. At the time of the creation of man, this idea first appears in the book of Genesis. Keep in mind that the Lord God originally gave mankind a Kingdom assignment.
The Lord Jesus gave us the responsibility of proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God, and He gave us access to His Spirit in order to fulfill the conditions for being born again (born of the Holy Spirit) and to be able to dwell in His Kingdom through His Spirit.
How To Enter The Kingdom
The keys to the kingdom are given by Jesus. That is why it is important for you to be born of His Spirit. Do you remember what Jesus told the religious ruler? Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
Jesus replied, “I assure you; no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life."
God's kingdom is a spiritual kingdom, you must be born into it through spiritual rebirth. You must change your residency from the kingdom of Satan to the kingdom of God. Jesus said:
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." - John 3:6-7
You see, in this way, the Lord God's heavenly rule would manifest itself on this earth through His extended image of mankind--not as a religious image, but as a citizen of the Kingdom of God. This was the first Kingdom. The Lord God, the Creator and King, extended His heavenly Kingdom to earth by way of His offspring...mankind. This is a message of His constitution, not a religious Bible story, but a royal family with power and authority.
His main concern on earth is restoring His Kingdom. Man has attempted to revive the idea of the Kingdom ever since humanity fell, but all of his past initiatives to construct a celestial Kingdom on this planet have been unsuccessful. Remember that no matter what kind of religion, religious governments always fail for this reason. Because of this, the Lord Jesus had to return to the earth and reestablish His heavenly Kingdom in people's minds. Through Adam, humanity lost a kingdom, and a kingdom is what humanity is looking for. The purpose of the Lord Jesus' coming was to restore the heavenly kingdom on earth. Establishing a religion was not the goal.
The majority of faiths are distinct from others because they are centered on a particular culture, creed, race, or nation. The Kingdom brings people together and unites them. Once more, the Kingdom of Heaven is comparable to a fishing net that was dropped into the ocean and pulled in a wide variety of fish. They hauled the complete net up onto the shore, sat down, and separated the good fish into boxes while discarding the bad ones.
The message of the Kingdom is for everyone who will receive and embrace it!
The Kingdom is what the human spirit yearns for, but man has tried to state that yearning through a variety of religions. We should always put the Kingdom of the Lord God first because of its significance to the initial reason for humanity's creation. As a result, God's initial plan and purpose for us being on earth was the establishment of the Kingdom as the first system of government.
So, you ask, how do I possess the Holy Spirit?
The apostle Paul taught that we receive the Holy Spirit the moment we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. First Corinthians 12:13 declares, “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” Romans 8:9 tells us that if a person does not possess the Holy Spirit, he or she does not belong to Christ: “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.” Ephesians 1:13-14 teaches us that the Holy Spirit is the seal of salvation for all those who believe: “Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.” He welcomes you into the Kingdom of God.
